WHAT IS ‘PROTECT OUR PLANET, TWENTY-FOUR SEVEN’ WORLD DAY ALL ABOUT?
Education and Inclusivity. We ALL need to understand the problem in order for us ALL to get involved in solving it. You see we are ALL complicit in creating human induced climate change and habitat destruction (HICC+HD) in the first place. It is going to take a mighty effort of UNITY to solve it!
This is why i4one and the World Day are designed this way. Made so simple so that everyone can join in, across the globe.
We have a year between the next two ‘Protect our planet, twenty-four seven’ World Days of 24-7-23 and 24-7-24. A year for unity across the planet to grow to enough numbers to put effective pressure on our political and corporate leaders to act. The longer we leave it the less chance we have of avoiding catastrophic change.
The micro protests, though not dramatic like traditional major demonstrations, are a departure from the latter tried and failed blueprint. Keeping it local, FREE and easily repeatable across the world gives the vast majority of humanity who want this problem solved, the chance to get their voice heard and finally noticed!
JOIN IN and encourage others to do so. These micro protests will keep happening on the last day of every month, getting more common around the world as the year above advances. The intention is for the second of the two dates, which fits the title of the day even better than the first, to become a HUMAN UNITY DAY. A day when we finally kick start effective action on human induced climate change and habitat destruction (HICC+HD), our greatest current threat.
