As COP29 finishes in the oil rich nation holding it, where is the hope?
We can only solve the climate emergency if we unite humanity to the same extent that we do in using fossil fuels worldwide. We need to LEARN how we are going to unite to solve the climate emergency. LEARN how we are going to practically solve the climate crisis we have created. LEARN and pass on the good news at a time when it is most needed, as most news in the world is bleak now a days.
ALL IT TAKES to survive this crisis and save the world is knowing exactly how we will do it!
So many companies worldwide declare that they offset their carbon footprint, often by thinking that they are planting fresh forests. Some are planted, it is true, but too often these newly planted trees are bought and offset many times over. All this while mature rainforest is cut down at an alarming rate, far more than the new planting. Trees are not able to start sequestering the carbon effectively until about 7 years old. We haven’t got that much time to wait for mature tree growth to solve our immediate problem. Trees are our future, but for solving this crisis we need something capable of delivering the vast amounts of carbon capture required in a much shorter time span.
Over 36 billion tons of carbon goes into our air every year presently and that CO2 lasts there for a century. We must get carbon out of the air NOW! There is only one plant (the most efficient, low cost, natural way) that can do this for us quickly enough for us to survive. It is DUCKWEED. Learn about it. How it works its miracle in time for us. The more people who know about it, the greater our chance of survival. If we all know how we are going to survive we can all demand from our leaders that it happens. Duckweed- the only safe, simple, relatively cheap, practical and natural way to save us all. Demand that we begin its propagation and storage at scale worldwide NOW!
Let’s stop the cheating and ‘greenwash’ and start the simple, practical, doable, natural means to capture all that carbon from the air. Start growing duckweed on an industrial scale as soon as possible.
